Manipulation tactics rarely appear alone. This page reveals which influence techniques tend to appear together across all analyzed content. The heatmap below shows the Jaccard similarity between every pair of tactics — the fraction of articles containing either tactic that contain both.

How Patterns Work

Every piece of content analyzed by Decipon is scored across 20 influence tactic categories. When two tactics both score above the presence threshold (2+ on the 1-5 scale), they form a co-occurrence pair.

Jaccard similarity measures the overlap between two tactics: of all articles where either tactic is present, what fraction contain both? A 32% Jaccard means roughly one-third of the relevant articles show both tactics together.

0-10% Weak

11-25% Moderate

26-50% Strong

51-100% Very strong

Patterns reveal manipulation "signatures" — common combinations that suggest coordinated influence campaigns.
